MagnetPaint is water-based and safe and easy to apply.
Surface preparation is crucial, the smoother the surface you apply the paint to, the better the end result you will get. Ensure that the surface is free of dust and grease, fill in any holes or imperfections, and ensure that the surface is non porous.
The paint is a one-component paint but does require a good mix before applying as the iron within the paint does sink to the bottom when the product is in storage.
Mix the paint well, paint your area and leave to dry.

Paint products are sold in tins. The coverage is expressed in metres squared. To work out the area you need to cover, you can use the calculation below:
Length of area x Width of area = Square area
You can then purchase the correct number of tins required to cover this square area.
For example, if your wall is 2.4m high x 3m wide
MagPaint is extremely safe and easy to use as well as being harmless to humans and the environment.
MagPaint does not interfere with magnetic-sensitive equipment such as pacemakers.:

Evri didn’t notify that my order was ready to collect and when I collected it it was very bashed up .. luckily not leaking but it’s going to be challenging to mix it up and keep it from tipping over. I can’t write a review of the paint, even though you keep asking for one, as I haven’t had a chance to use it yet. ..

All of our paint tins leave us in pristine condition, so unfortunately it appears the damage occurred during transit. We also understand it was frustrating that Evri didn't notify you that your parcel was ready for collection, as they are supposed to do this at each stage. Had you contacted us as soon as you collected your order, we would have been happy to investigate and arrange a suitable resolution if the tin had been damaged in transit. We usually wouldn't recommend using paint from a heavily damaged tin, as any compromise to the container could potentially affect the quality of the product. We hope the paint is unaffected and that you're pleased with the finished result once you've had the opportunity to use it.
A great solution to wanting to put up some magnets without having metal around. Easy to apply and a great result. Very happy. I would probably need thicker magnetic paint layers, or more magnetic layers (or less sanding, or less coloured paint layers over the top) to make it stronger. But it is fine for my purposes.

The coverahe of the whiteboard paint is not great, hardly cover half of the required area. The intensity/power of the black magnetic paint is not great neither. We ended up ordering extra magnetic paint and whiteboard paint separately and paying twice as much. It is rather frustrating.

This was a great experience applying the magnetic paint. Although I covered less area that it is mentioned to cover, I would recommend having another layer to make it stronger. I have some fridge magnets that don't stay up the wall :) but that's not that bad. Overall it's a great product.

I bought the paint to make a 60x120cm chalkboard for my son. I did have to dilute it slightly as directed on the tin as it’s really thick and sandy texture but it improved with second and third coats and I was happy with the results, it passed the fridge magnet test and then the chalkboard top coat has now gone on top and I’m excited to use it. Customer service was great, the courier accidentally damaged the tin but it was all dealt with really quickly by chat/emails.
