Magnetic paint can be applied to any smooth wall to create a magnetically receptive surface. I.E. magnets will be attracted to the surface. The stronger the magnets that you use with your surface, the stronger the magnetic pull.
We offer two brands of magnetic paint which can be used as a base layer to create magnetically receptive surfaces of any size, shape or colour. Magnetic paint is applied to the surface in three layers, with drying time in between the layers. The paint is a dark grey colour and once dried, can be painted over with any colour to match existing decor, or make an area stand out. Attach notes, memos and pictures to your surface with magnet attachments.
Magnetic paint can also be paired with a matching whiteboard paint or blackboard paint for a writable and magnetic area. Write on, wipe off with dry wipe markers and attach using magnets.

Magnetic Paint FAQs
General Information
Magnetic paint (or magnetic primer) is a type of paint that contains tiny iron particles, allowing magnets to stick to surfaces coated with it.
It is commonly used to create magnetic walls or boards for homes, offices, schools, and creative spaces.
Magnetic paints and primers are usually a grey colour and are designed to be used as a base layer under any colour emulsion or pared with a writable paint such as whiteboard paint or blackboard paint to create versatile writable areas that accept magnetic attachments.
We supply water-based, VOC free and easy to apply paints from a choice of manufacturers, and a more heavy-duty magnetic plaster which is designed to be installed by professionals.

What magnets should I use with these products?
As all of these products are magnetically RECEPTIVE rather than MAGNETIC, it means that MAGNETS stick to it. The stronger the magnet, the stronger the magnetic pull will be.
We recommend using high quality neodymium magnets for best results.
Are these products safe?
They are completely safe to use, and will not interfere with electronic equipment.
We are often asked if they will effect people with pace-makers fitted, they are completely safe and will cause no harm to pacemakers.
How do you prepare walls for magnetic paints?
You want to apply these products to a clean and dust free surface that has had any holes filed in and sanded to a smooth finish.
How do you remove magnetic paint?
You can sand the surface back to remove the magnetic paint from the area.
How do I know which Magnetic paint to use?
If pairing with whiteboard paint it's always best to choose the same brand magnetic base as whiteboard.
