Get Organised with A Magnet Calendar!

" I just wish I was more organised!"

How many times have we all said this- and missed an appointment, phone call or has that project deadline slipped your mind.

Create a massive office calendar like this with chalkbord paint. We love this idea for jotting down reminders for the whole team and encouraging social engagement in the workplace.

This would be ideal for an open plan office where your team hotdesk or come into the office on certain days only.

Magnetic blackboard wall calendar

Pair with magnetic paint for even more functionality - this wonderful combination allows you to have a calendar design on your wall that you can put magnets on and write on in chalk. No need to keep buying paper calendars to hang up, simply rub off at the end of the month and start again... and it's better for the environment.

Get The Look

  1.  The smoother the surface that you apply the paints to, the better the end results will be.
  2. First fill in any holes and imperfections and sand back to a smooth surface.
  3. Prime the surface with a water based primer.
  4. Use your painters tape / masking tape to create a grid effect on the wall of your desired size.
  5. Next you need to apply the MagnetPaint in three layers. Mix the MagnetPaint thoroughly to ensure the iron filings are mixed even through the paint
  6. Allow each layer to dry and give a light sand between layers
  7. After the final layer is fully dry sand to a smooth flat surface - don't worry the surface will maintain its magnetic properties.
  8. Now apply the Blackboard paint on top of the magnetpaint in one or two layers. Blackboard paint is available in a choice of 7 different colours.
  9. Blackboard paint is quick-drying and your surface is ready to use in 24 hours.
  10. When the paint has totally dried, remove the tape and it's ready to use
